Yes, every now and then, we do leave our furbabies behind. In fact, they just got left behind at the LA Kennel Club (www.kennelclublax.com) for a week so that we could go to Switzerland, France and Monaco. Our traveling has slowed down a bit due to the economy. We hope to boost our vacations back up though! Being the animal lovers that we are, even on our travels abroad, animals are something that both my husband do look out for. We even take pictures of them!
And just to prove how serious we are, from kissing whales in Baja, swimming with turtles in Tahiti (both my husband and I are certified PADI divers- now if you want to talk about diving, that’s a whole another website and another passion! Feel free to ask me about that. We have gone diving in Tahiti, Maui, Jamaica, Thailand, St Lucia, we will go to Aruba this year) , a stout moray eel in Maui, falling in love with a baby elephant in Thailand and of course the stray cats in Jamaica and Tahitiand stray dogs in Sorrento, Italy! I once saw a cat eating pasta in Cinque Terre and thought it was the funniest thing!
On my latest trip with Candy to Vietnam, we were sitting at an outside restaurant where a stray puppy was begging for food from table to table. But when he came to our table, he let me give him some reiki and he sat down soaking in the energy and then politely moved to another table to beg for food. We were both amazed! There was an elephant fish in Vietnam as well that received some reiki as well, it was very receptive to energy. Animals love reiki. They don’t have as much baggage as we humans do so the energy just goes where it needs to go.
This story was Mark’s idea (hubby). How could I forget there are many furbabies out in the world that we come in contact to. So I thank him for the inspiration for this blog.

Love the photos and the stories of the Reiki animals that have crossed your path on your travels.
And since you dive I think you would enjoy reading “Calling All Reiki Stories” on my blog which contains a story by one of my Reiki students about her diving adventure with a sea star. You can read it at: http://wildreiki.wordpress.com/2008/05/23/calling-all-reiki-stories
Would love to have some of your Reiki stories for the book that I am gathering together if you would like to submit one or some, the details are in the article.
Hope you have a wonderful time on your travels, and many more fun Reiki adventures!
Best wishes,
Rose

I like reading how the animals respond to Reiki, it’s very interesting as they seemly act in a receptive manner.
