Reiki for Cat Keeping Mom Up at Night

Here’s the request for healing that we received :

We adopted him this past May when he was about 8 months old. He lives with me, my husband, Sid (dog) and Dilbert (cat). Ever since August, Noah has been very active at night, not wanting to let me sleep. From 12-3a, he focuses on me, waking me hourly by laying on my pillow and trying to rip my hair out with his teeth! Lately he’s moved toward nipping my arms too. He’s a sweet boy–very cuddly and playful but this behavior is perplexing. He does not do the same to my husband. I’m not sure what he needs. He gets play time before bed and also plays with Dilbert after wards. We have a typical 1920 Chicago condo so exiling him from our room does little good. He’ll just bang on the door all night!

When we connected with Noah:

As we connected with Noah, Noah said, Noah thinks this will be great healing energy flowing in Noah! What a good plan. This had to be Mom’s plan. Noah knows Mom is the motivator in having this done for Noah. Yes, Noah does pull, bit and in general rough up Mom. Noah said Noah wants to play with the angels that are all around Mom. Sometimes Noah is content to just communicate but then Noah is not sure Noah is seeing them for sure so Noah reaches out to grab one! These angels are getting more and more clever and now hiding under Mom’s body. Noah is watching.

So we explained to Noah that it was good that the angels were there and that they are there loving, guiding and protecting Mom. Noah said what? Oh, you say what? Angels are SUPPOSED to be there to love and protect Noah too, just like for Mom and Dad? We told Noah that if he would be QUIET and STILL Noah could hear what the messages are . Noah said OH……….

This was a learning experience us too. We felt that because Noah was so young he wasn’t sure about the angels. Children and animals can see angels readily because they have no ego and fear. They just see what they see.

We heard back from mom that Noah was sleeping soundly since the session. We told her we hoped he slept through the night with the healing energy and doesn’t wake Mom up tonight. Hopefully he will keep still and quiet to get the angels’ messages! Noah is a very sweet kitty.. as well as beautiful!

Few days later we heard from Mom : Ming and Candy – Just wanted to let you know that Noah did not attempt to wake up “attack” once last night. I did wake up to him laying behind my head on the pillow, as he does, but he just laid there nicely. Thank you!
