Reiki for 9 yr old Lab Border Collie-Wellness & Communication

So many of the animals that come to us have an illness or grief. It’s fun when we get to Reiki a pet who is well! The Reiki taps into their wellness center! This is the request that we got!

I was interested in getting a session for our pup (9 year old Lab Border Collie mix) and myself. I am pretty intuitive, but I’d like to get some outside the home feedback on whether or not we should get another pup for the house (her buddy passed away last March) and just to see what she has to say to someone other than me and my hubby! For myself, to get some assistance on some health issues and some big stuff we’ve been dealing with at home. I’ve been following y’all on Facebook and really love reading/seeing the fur babies you help! Thank you for the information.

Our session with her was so fun! She wouldn’t stop talking! Candy said she just kept going and going and going! She said she was ready for a new pup. She said it would mix things up at home. She was confident and did not worry about displaced. She said it was a great idea from Mom. She even wanted to name the new dog “Lucky” cause that is what the dog would be joining their family!! Candy and I thought she was so cute! We had never had a dog that just kept talking and even wanting to name her new brother or sister!

A beaver and a bear showed up too during her session! The Beaver reminds us that we have to act on our dreams to make them a reality. When it shows up, it is the time for action. Beaver can show you how to construct wonderful dreams!

Here’s what Mom said:

Hmm, let’s see – I turned the TV off so there wouldn’t be any distractions and sat at our dining room table and was looking through some magazines. She came over and laid down on the floor next to me. Normally she’d just snooze, but she was alert, with her head on her paws. Her eyebrows were moving constantly and her ears were doing the swivel back and forth thing. She ‘talks’ a lot normally – little grumbles, whines, chuffs (we joke that she’s part bear – and/or a long lost Karelian Bear Dog princess, so the bear showing up was interesting indeed!), and she was doing some ‘talking’ while y’all were talking to her. Every now and then she’d stretch a little and readjust position. Around 8:15 she was wagging her tail a little, then more whines/talking…stretch, readjust, nibble on her forearm….just relaxed, but very alert, if that makes sense? When it got to be around 8:35 she got up, did her downward dog stretch and came over and put her head on my lap for pats/smooches. She slept well and was her sweet happy self this morning. I’m glad she’s open to another dog in the family. She can definitely be a bossy girl with other dogs, so maybe she’s looking forward to someone to “herd” again! And nothing to be concerned on the health/wellness scan? She was recently put on thyroid meds and that seems to have made her perkier than she was. Just want to make sure she’s doing well…she’s such a happy girl and they don’t always share when they’re feeling rough. She’s my little “feeling fairy” and such a wonderful part of the family.

So she was a talky girl to y’all? I could totally see that happening – and yes, she is confident with a capital “C” that’s for sure!
