We loved visiting Safe Harbor Ranch in Gunnison, CO. We hope to return again. It is wonderful to attune some of the most wonderful animals on the planet. Meeting Otis and watching him in action was so fun. Here’s his story:

Otis for many years belonged to a ‘trekking’ company in Gunnison. That means that people would book horse riding and camping treks into the high country around Crested Butte. People would ride the horses ands the llamas would follow behind and carry the camping gear. The owners of the company also had a herd of alpacas which from which they sold fleece/yarn. Otis has a brother Elvis, who was born with a deformed foot. And although Otis could ‘trek’ quite well, his younger bother Elvis could not walk well enough to trek so would be left behind. He would be inconsolable and cry when Otis left the property. Although Elvis had a function on the property, which was to stand guard over the alpacas, he wasn’t capable ofdoing so alone. So they began to leave Otis behind to be with Elvis, and also guard the alpacas. When they sold off the alpacas several years ago, nobody would take both llamas together. Although Otis was wanted as a guard llama, nobody wanted Elvis. I’m glad the owners held out until they found me, as Otis and Elvis were able to stay together. Otis continues to be a tremendous guard for our sheep. And Elvis’ foot is not getting worse, since he can live on soft ground here. Otis is very friendly and curious with people. ..although he has certain rules about being touched. He only lets me scratch his head while he eats out of a bucket.!

Otis said Otis lives on a rock and roll ranch. All the vibrations and healing energy feels like a rock and roll band of energy flowing all around. Otis knows everyone is absorbing all the the “good vibrations” coming from all the healing going on here at the rock and roll ranch. Chance just knows how to stay close to Mom and help with the healing. This is a magical place for Otis and everyone that lives here. There is a real connection to the whole Universe . Healing Otis, Otis healing others. heals the Universe and  keeps it flowing!

I just read everything this morning. Thank you so much for sharing such wonderful
messages from my animals. I am so happy to hear that Otis is happy and enjoying
his life, that Irene has found her real purpose and that my Francesca, the complicated
one, is discovering herself.

With all the attuned animals all around me, and literally on all sides of the house, I
have been feeling a circle of energy and peace at the ranch. When I send Reiki to
anyone, I ask them all to join me.
