I should know better than to think a Saturday is going to be just a typical Saturday. I was on my way to Nick Alexander Mini Cooper to help my hubby drop off his car for service. As I walk into the lobby, I turn to look out the window and see a dog just drop in the shade next to a car. I could see a gash on her head, paws looked very raw, and she looked exhausted. I asked the receptionist if that dog belonged to anyone. She sadly said no. I sent the dog angels right away. The receptionist Roberta said she had posted a picture on her FB page. I thought, WOW, great idea. I know our followers would be very supportive and a miracle was bound to happen. So I took a picture of this girl and saw that she had puppies recently as well. I asked Roberta where I could get some water and she suggested Parts. I found a coffee cup and filled it with water. This thirsty girl drank the entire cup without spilling. I decided she needed another and a cold cup this time getting it from the fountain. She drank that up. I posted the pic on our www.facebook.com/reikifurbabies page and Roberta was kind enough to give me her number as the contact number.
When I got home the comments were pouring in all reminding ME that this was meant to be and that she (this sweet dog) knew where to find me. I thought of all days, and Candy is out of town.Usually the strays all end up at Candy’s house, they know how to find her. I started calling all the pit bull rescues I could find in the LA area. As I called, I could feel everyone supporting this sweet dog as well. Then a comment came from Robin Santos, she was the one that we helped rescue Nathaniel and River, a weekend I will never forget even though I not physically there with Robin. Our hearts and souls never left her on this journey. When I saw Robin’s comments, in came good news. Someone was picking up the dog! This was literally in two hours time! I texted Robert and she told me someone named Kelley was getting her. OMG. I was so thrilled, so thankful and full of gratitude. More comments poured in on our FB page.
When I went back to Mini Cooper, Roberta told me she was fed and given more water.
A connection was made. My soul to this pit bull. I heard later on that Summer Harlow had her and she was doing okay. Her teeth was okay (no signs of fighting) , just probably used for breeding. I could not wait to send her more healing and have Candy talk to her.
Here’s what she said:
Mini Angel said, For Mini Angel the language of kindness is the only language that Mini Angel ever wants to hear. Mini Angel had always been in a metal box so to be out and running free was amazing. Mini Angel wasn’t even sure these four legs could more so fast and far. Mini Angel was really sad, scared and tired when Mini Angel dropped (this is when Ming saw her drop by the car, angels were immediately sent) Mini Angel yes, could feel the angels right away telling Mini Angel that it was okay. Mini Angel would hear and find kindness. Mini Angel was pretty sleepy for awhile but now feels stronger. All the angels surrounding Mini Angel keep Mini Angel positive and healing all of Mini Angel’s thoughts. Erasing the fears and opening Mini Angel’s mind and heart to all the love and kindness that is being showered on Mini Angel. It is so kind of Summer to give Mini Angel a bed, food, love and share her home while everyone is searching for the right home for Mini Angel. Mini Angel is so grateful for every kindness that has touched Mini Angel along the way of this journey. Mini Angel knows it will continue and the angels will guide Mini Angel all the way home.
Summer wrote: “This picture doesn’t do her justice…she looks SOOO much better and is feeling better too. Your session really had an effect on her! Thank you, Ming and Candy!”
I just know the rescue of this dog is going to lead to something wonderful for everyone involved.
Anyone that takes this dog as their forever dog will receive two more donated sessions with us.
