It seems like in my experience that when my life is in chaos all I have to do is look at my fur babies for calm. Kc and Star have been my support, my entertainment and my never ending feeling of joy. Have a bad day? A wet nose and big lick can make everything turn right side up in my world. Our pets have this amazing ability to put all the unimportant world event in perspective with their loving open hearts. No good, no bad, all they want to do is love you; then love some more. We are always in concert with our happy emotions and never disappoint the other. This is one of those perfect relationships where everyone brings glee to the table of life.
Kc just came home after having surgery on his knee. Kc had a cranial cruciate ligament rupture, which I have learned is the most common cause of hind limb lameness in our dogs. Kc also developed arthritis and that will be and on going painful condition he has to deal with. The Vet thought Kc may have to stay for a few days, but the morning after surgery my fur baby was up alert and ready to come home. Star was so grateful for his arrival she needed to go outside to do her cartwheels. Once she settled down Star became the loving gentle care taker of her big brother Kc. Star has not licked his leg, but has covered every inch of the rest of Kc’s body with her love and concern kisses, aka: licks. I spend the most mediating part of my day letting all the stresses fall off of me has I observe the entertaining and beautiful boxers I call Kc and Star. What a gift our pets are to our hearts, and how they free our minds from the everyday tension of the obstacles of living in todays busy world.
I would like thank everyone for their warm words of love and support for Me, and Kc during his surgery. Star felt your good vibes too.
