Couple years ago a little puppy found its way to Candy…. her name was Charlotte. That’s the name that came to Candy as she held her. Here’s Charlotte’s story. Now fast forward to our time: Mom gave us an update on how Charlotte is doing in Texas. She’s quite the serving one. Serving her country and helping people and animals everywhere! This little soul wandered into our lives to fulfill her much needed purpose!! Love you Charlotte and glad to hear things are well with your forever family!
“My nickname is Miz C. I am enjoying living out in the Hill Country of Central Texas. I am a city girl like my Mama. However, I like to see the cattle and sheep. Occassionally I see deer and rabbits in our courtyard. I am famous for doing the Charlotte 500. I make visits to various nursing homes and the Kerrville (TX) VAMC as a pet therapy dog with the Kerr County (TX) Humane Society. Last fall and spring, I participated in the K-9 Literacy Program at Ingram (TX) Elementary School. On March 19th, 2011, I participated with the other Kerr Co. pet therapy dogs in “Bark for Life”. I stood on the stage and got a purple bandana. I met Miss Kerr County. Mama says here in Texas beauty pageants are a big deal. I like tofu. I turn two the end of July. My favorite toys are my hedgehog and football on a rope. Go Miami Dolphins, my Daddy’s favorite team.”
