When we got this email, our hearts so went out to Rommie. This is our sweet Rommie. He is six years old.  He adored Moose; Moose was a great teacher and his big brother.  Yesterday, Rommie was diagnosed with TMJ.  He is in a lot of pain.  He can barely open his mouth to eat and take pain pills.  He cries when he yawns and attempts to bark.  He is sad.  He always has something to say — he is very vocal — but has been silent the last two days.  He won’t let us touch him.  We raise our hand to pet him (not around his face or mouth) and he closes his eyes and winces just anticipating the pain.  It is breaking our hearts.  We have taken him to our vet and am trying to find a specialist.  I know Reiki will bring him some relief.

 

It was so wonderful to connect to Rommie. We immediately saw Moose! Rommie said, Rommie is very glad we can communicate without Rommie speaking. Rommie does this with Moose’s spirit. Rommie also speaks out loud to Moose. Rommie wants this soothing healing energy. Rommie feels out of order because Rommie’s jaws are not able to open and close. Rommie is learning to spend time in Rommie’s head and thoughts. Rommie does not want anyone to reach out and touch Rommie now because it vibrates up Rommie’s jaw. Rommie knows how much Mom and Dad care and love Rommie. A connection continues between all of us. Moose, Rommie, Mom and Dad and family! Rommie is glad you brought an angel to stay with Rommie. Rommie likes having angelic love and protection. Rommie is going to rest now with Rommie’s angel.

A couple of days later we heard back from Rommie’s Mom:

Every piece of positive energy helps. He can open his mouth about half way and if being more vocal — he has always been an incredibly vocal dog. He gets his first laser treatment of Friday, which will promote blood flow, decreased inflammation, and tissue healing. I hope it helps. It is a start. He is sweet soul — not an old soul like Moose, but Moose taught him well. Thanks for following up.
